My Approach
My approach is rooted in the understanding that individuals are not separate from their social, cultural, and political contexts. Therefore, I do not solely focused on the individual, but also on the larger systems of oppression that impact their well-being.
Creating Safety
I prioritize creating a safe and supportive space where clients can share their experiences and be heard without judgment. I also prioritize building a relationship with my clients based on mutual trust, respect, and collaboration.
Ultimately, my goal as a liberation psychologist is to support my clients in cultivating a sense of agency and resilience, and to work towards creating a more just and equitable society.
Your Process
Throughout the healing process, I aim to empower my clients to identify and challenge the ways in which systemic oppression affects their lives. This involves exploring how their experiences are shaped by factors such as race, gender, sexuality, class, and ability.
